Barefoot Beginner is committed to publishing useful, honest content about minimalist and barefoot-style shoes. This policy explains how we do it.
Who writes our content
Our content is written by Chris, who has firsthand experience with barefoot-style running and walking. We do not use ghostwriters or AI-generated content without human review and editing.
How we research
We combine personal experience with careful research. We read manufacturer specifications, compare models, and gather user feedback. When we haven't personally tested a product, we say so.
Review integrity
We do not accept payment for reviews. We do not allow advertisers or affiliate partners to influence our ratings or conclusions. If a product has significant drawbacks, we disclose them.
Updates and corrections
We review and update content when we learn new information or when products change. If you spot an error, please contact us. We will correct factual errors promptly.
